Robert B. Phillips, IV
Chicago Lawyer Magazine reported that the $8,500,000.00 medical malpractice settlement which Mr. Phillips secured on behalf of an eight year-old boy with cerebral palsy, ranked within the top ten 2006 settlements for an individual in the State of Illinois. Mr. Phillips has been featured by CBS News in a multi-part series reporting on medical negligence.
Mr. Phillips has been providing aggressive and effective representation of clients, and their families, since 1990 in personal injury and wrongful death matters. His results on behalf of his clients include numerous record setting recoveries achieved through settlement and jury verdicts.
In addition to Mr. Phillips' Chicago television news appearances on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and WGN, he has also been featured on the NBC Today Show with Matt Lauer and CNN to discuss the events surrounding the Chicago E2 Nightclub disaster. Mr. Phillips was the only Chicago lawyer to preserve critical evidence on behalf of the twenty one people who suffered wrongful deaths at the nightclub in 2003.
